9 month online course: Formula for Movement

Open to all level of teachers and practitioners, this 9 month course is a step down from the previous one which was specific to the dance of shiva. In this course there will be more emphasis placed on the formula for movement (laid out in chapter 4 of Behind the Cosmic Dancer) offering the practitioner tools to build their practice with the intention of becoming autonomous, cultivating awareness in the mind and body as 1 unit, exploring universal laws and transposing them to movement thereby reducing the number of steps for any given posture or karana. It is not compulsory to have read the book, or the chapter but should you wish to, it is available in a number of formats here.

Recordings are available for unlimited viewing prior to the next live class.

Please Note: The first class is on 20th July 5pm UK time, thereafter it’s every 2nd Saturday of the month (Feb will be postponed due to India trip).

Dance of Shiva

It is an advanced class and preparation for this is available in Thursdays class at the same time of 10 am UK. Payments are currently by donation via http://PayPal.me/natashanandiniyogini

retreat in Bavaria

Sunday 23rd to Friday 28th OCTOBER 2022.
Classes commence Monday morning and end Thursday afternoon.
There will be two classes a day.
For those who are practising the dance, there will be a SHORT window, daily, to touch on what we have learnt together. This will be in addition to the two classes.
Sunday arrival and Friday departure after breakfast.

The price includes full board, towels, and taxes (the house charges for towels separately so if you prefer to bring your own towel please let me know and you will get a refund for that).
Taxi from Salzburg airport to the venue is approximately 60 €. I will organise that you can meet fellow students and travel together. Another possibility is that local friends will help with pick up/ drop offs but this should be looked at as a bonus rather than a definite.
The train Station, Berchtesgaden is about 2-3 km from the venue.
Things to know:
The house we will be using has a seminar room  with a parquet sprung floor and under floor heating. The room is very peaceful with 6 door windows  accessing the terrace and the meadows. There is a beautiful fresh water lake a short hike away for those who wish to skinny dip although it will be too cold for me. We will be secluded in the hills which reminds me of The Sound of Music 🙂
I agreed only to do this retreat because the chef I wanted has agreed to cook for us.  Everything she has made for me, whether it be Asian, Indian, or Turkish has been beyond delicious.
There are 6 bathrooms in the house, 2 on each floor, I am told. I will be separating Gents from Ladies for everyone to feel comfortable with this.
