Explorations in Yoga for Beginners and the Early Seeker
YOGA IMMERSION
This course is aimed at the student who is new to yoga but can also benefit those who wish to further their knowledge and practice.The course has been designed as an immersion in order to allow for the information to take root quickly, through repetition over a short period of time.
Using yoga postures we will explore some key components of the body, how they function and relate to each other and to the mind. By bringing awareness to new parts we will begin the process of cultivating the system towards more vitality of life. We will look to explore the breath and experience how it plays an important part in our state of mind and how to use it in order to help us better deal with what Life puts on our path.
What you will learn:
How a little yoga goes a long way to feeling great.
Core yoga poses to help you feel comfortable attending a yoga class.
The benefits of keeping the joints lubricated
How to use the breath to calm the mind.
WHAT TO BRING:
Some cushions or a chair to hand for support, just in case.
ON ZOOM:
Monday to Friday May 10-14th 6PM-7:15PM
Recordings will be available for 7 days after live stream for those unable to attend.
