The broader picture of practising yoga is to cultivate awareness through the body and the mind. As a result of the practice the physical system becomes enhanced. The joints are kept fluid and mobile, increased blood flows to the heart and lungs and the digestive system is encouraged to work more efficiently. These benefits then elevate our mood which certainly makes for a better quality of life, not just for us but for those around us.
I would like to make this a yoga class open to anyone who may be interested. A class which suits the needs of those who choose to attend, regardless of whether yoga is a lifestyle or a new endeavour. If you have found yoga daunting in the past, it helps to remember you don’t have to be flexible to attend (although this will become a welcome bi-product).
